 Dear Family and Friends,

We are excited to tell you about our plans to build our family through adoption! For a long time, we have been talking about bringing a child into our home.  It has been quite an emotional journey getting to this point in our lives, and now we are ready to proceed toward a fulfilling future. 

Of course, the search for our birth mother is the first step.  The adoption laws in our state say that anyone can help us locate a birth mother as long as they are not being paid to do so. Since our attorney cannot assist us in this effort, we are reaching out to as many people as we can to let them know to keep us in mind if they learn of a pregnant woman who wishes to make an adoption plan.  We are hoping that you can help us in this way. We are searching in other ways too, but we know from the experience of others, that birth mothers and adoptive parents often connect through word of mouth.  So, please spread the word to your family, friends, neighbors, parishoners, and work colleagues.

If you know of a birth mother who wishes to make an adoption plan, please don’t hesitate to tell her about us.
